Reminds me of Junction 9 Yoga in Inglewood, but this one has way better quality wood. Has a nice warm tone to it looks like.
The wood we used on Junction 9 was sourced from a 100 year old granary in southern Alberta so it was well acclimatized and virtually guaranteed not to warp or check. That's how we were able to leave it untreated and allow it to grey naturally over time. Very cost effective and sustainable and sure enough, the wood fins are as straight as the day they went up!

starting to think it was a bit of a missed opportunity not having more ground floor retail facing the park, like the north side of center ave. perfect for a street of sidewalk cafes. prob would need further densification to make that viable though. especially these days.
