Nice find. Was that a Royop proposal?I took me a while to find the old rendering of Gateway Midtown, but I managed to dig it up.

Was a developer called Resiance I believe, they went under in 2008.Nice find. Was that a Royop proposal?
Resiance had done a few smaller multi-family projects and a large one called Gateway South Centre. This next one was to be Gateway Midtown, but the market turned and they struggled with Gateway South Centre. Was a developer called Resiance I believe, they went under in 2008.
I paid 621k, two underground parking spots and locker. 850sqft 2 bed 2 bath. Very top floor corner unit with the most desirable facing view. I got the best unit in the whole building luckily or i wouldnt of grabbed it. Rental agreement of $3350 and with rates going down will make it cash flow positive. Honestly even if i did over pay I'm holding it, it'll be paid off in 25 years and will fund my retirement.I'd be shocked if anyone in Calgary was silly enough to buy into this. I don't even think the condos were marketed in Calgary. Prices look nose bleed high to me. We thank you for your contribution to our skyline and rental supply though!
What did you pay per square foot for your unit?
Its a fair price. In my professional opinion, a great investment opportunity too. I am very happy with the purchase620 K for 860 ft.² two bedrooms and two bath doesn’t seem nose bleed for the location. It’s not cheap, but it’s not overly expensive either..
