BJL Calgary? That could be Brad J. Lamb. He built 6th and Tenth and proposed The Orchard in Vic Park. He swore off Calgary after Orchard fell through and has stuck to only building in Toronto... Until now, perhaps? This is good news because Lamb is a very high quality developer.
High quality?! I don't know about that.. 6th and Tenth looks good from afar, but the building is a mess.

Also note that the entire north elevation of 6th and Tenth was supposed to be grey brick.

The hidden parking is still a lost opportunity for landscaping which becomes more and more valued with denser builds.

Lamb is above average when it comes to design. Quality is another matter. Not among the worse. At best, average.

Not sure about 6th and Tenth in particular, but his developments are quite well regarded in the GTA.

If all you're looking for is something pretty to look at, then sure. I don't know about the quality of the Toronto buildings but yah, they cut a loooooot of corners at 6th and Ten. I also remember seeing articles of very upset buyers in his Ottawa development as well.

Can't speak to the quality of his builds, but anyone familiar with his sh*t in Toronto, knows you don't want him near your city... Maybe he's just a lucky developer, that the heritage buildings standing on his site seem to mysteriously burn down to make way for his highrise towers..
