Well, Big Rock is still an independent company and paved the way for a lot of these craft breweries. Banded Peak is very much in the Barley Belt, and they were bough out by Labatt. As long as the beer doesn't taste like Kokanee and they have a decent selection, it should work fine.

Kokanee

Kootenay beer on the other hand is great cheap beer. Always get some when I'm in BC.

Love me some Kokanee. Best domestic beer there is nowadays.
