It's late Q3 2025 and they don't even have an approved DP yet. It's a huge project and likely a 4 year build. A 2030 occupancy would seem to align with a construction start next year.
They recently started selling and it's being advertised with an estimated 2030 completion date, so that's probably the most optimistic timeline.

I wonder if one will be a rentals only. The sales brochure only has west tower units ATM.
According to this article it will be mixed. Not sure if it's one tower rental, one tower condos, or they will adjust depending on the sale demand, which I doubt is great right now.

They are saying the Estimate occupancy 2030......... even later than Truman stampede hotels

I think this should feel similar to Burnaby's Gimore Place when complete with a worse tower, better podium

I think Chinook area is already gradually transforming into a sort of "midtown", and the new multi stuff starting up there will ensure that continues. Chinook, Brentwood, Westbrook and North Hill all have great potential for intensification. I don't even care that much whether these nodes end up being primarily highrise, midrise or a mix of both - as long as they get the street level stuff right.

Brentwood is another area that I'd be okay with seeing a high-rise cluster of buildings. This would be my choice if the choice was given to me.

Chinook - Any kind of height.
Brentwood 6-36 floor range.
North Hill 6-20 floor range.
Westbrook, mostly low rise with 2-3 towers in the 10-20 storey range.
Banff Trail 6-26 storey range.

Most stations, I'd be happy with anything in the 6-26 floor range, but I'd be fine with higher for Brentwood, and Chinook can go sky high for all I care.
