That map still shows the "Stampede trail" retail strip on Olympic way. We'll see how that pans out as I don't see it being overly successful unless the arena district brings a lot of development to the area in the near future.
The Stampede WANTS booths. Because they think the personal touch is part of the STAMPEDE SPIRIT!Are the booths and gates really needed? Can't they just put in pay machines that give you a ticket to put in your windshield?
Once the arena construction gets underway, there will be more multi-family development to the north and east along 12 Ave. When you add in Curtis Block to what is already to the west, there is considerable residential density in which to draw from.
