Whaaaat?! They actually came through with the water feature! That’s gotta be a first. Very impressive, definitely have to head up there before I go visit my fam in ON at the end of the month. Wow.

unfortunately the window of liquid h2o and darkness is so narrow in this city, those lights look great!

Only the green areas fenced off now! Saw a couple construction workers busy doing small fixes like adjusting some trees

This looks fantastic! Will have to check it out. The rain will also help with the grass and trees. I hope they will maintain things over the years. It would be a shame to let things fall apart after all this effort. Would the park fall under city control or would the community/district take care of maintenance?

Are you just referring to the short summer season in Calgary ?

I think he means the amount of time where you have water in the fountains and it's also dark long enough for people to enjoy. Personally I don't like fountains in a climate where they are on for about 5 months a year and are bleak for the other 7. This case works because it will just be sidewalk when the fountain is off.

ya, thats what i meant. outside of september theres not alot opportunity to see the water lit up like that.
