I like that University District has been on a solid roll with midrises and smaller-scaled high-density projects, but it would've been nice to have a couple of 25+ storey towers, particularly on a site like this. It is just a wish list thought. I find 17 storeys just too stubby for towers with a footprint this size.

It's a strong mid rise district. Keep it mid rise. I'm undecided on this one. It doesn't fit the mold of either a signature site or a signature design. Europe is great at signature towers in mid rise masterplans. Toronto and Vancouver typically go overboard . These plans become high rise with mid rises. In my opinion, less height over more height would be the better hypothetical course if it turns out awkwardly stubby towering over the neighbourhood.
