Its already there, you can see it. Those metal channels work wonders.

I've posted this in this thread several times, but I absolutely love this project. This is such a nice, simple design, classy and elegant, and perfect for its site context. Very European in nature.

More of these types of projects in Calgary please.

But have you seen the cost of thought these days?

Due to its rarity, price has gone up exponentially.

Yeah, this is a very frustrating project. Not because it's bad...but because it demonstrates what can be achieved with even a moderate budget if a modicum of effort and taste is applied.

It's the kind of project that seems so obviously a decent outcome - cost-effective, dense, attractive - that you'd think we'd literally just copy-and-paste this anytime we need a new multi-family in any community.

It is on a flat piece of land, there is no reason not to take this nation-wide.

It totally lightens it up! I was concerned it was going to be dark due to the overhang.

Looks great! So simple yet so hard for others to duplicate. The only thing I would have done differently is make the middle section one floor taller and the one on the far right 2 floors taller to give it a staircase effect. Not sure if that would have been possible with elevators, but I think that would have looked cool.

It's still looks a bit odd for the location, but that's mostly the location's fault.
