We all know 707 is a beaut. Seeing this vantage though, it really makes me want the Barron Building Expansion to go through. It would make for a much more complete street scape on the block. The logical extention of that hope is that the NE corner of 8th Ave & 5th Street also become built up at some point. Sadly, I can't say I've ever heard any proposals for that little parking lot.

I believe the +15 is supposed to go over to the neighbouring building through that empty lot. Even if they did a small park or something it would be far better than what's there now.

It really is a nice looking building. This should have been 10-15 floors taller.

So it looks like they've capped the structural portion and the glazing isn't far behind. Now begins the interior work. When is the slated completion date? Late 2017?
