Does anyone know the product that they are using? I assuming it's some sort of "fake" brick paneling that doesn't require mortar and reduces the labour. Would this brick be something similar to what is used on residential homes or is it more of a commercial-quality / scale thing?
 
I like brick most of the time, but it just seems weird to me to only use brick on one small strip of one facade. I fear it will look out of place and ruin any design unity/symmetry.
Oh I read an article on this recently. The are some issues with Calgary's climate among other reasons that limit its use.
