I rode by this today and uttered those exact words to myself. It appears so

was by today, they are painting it flat black. it looks better painted imo but not finished so jury still out. it looked terrible before so doubt it could be worse.

This is one of my favorite styles of multi-family housing. The other being townhome style.

The only thing missing from this development is a cycle lane on that section of 5th street.
