The Truman development between 15th and 17th along Macleod will also do wonders in that regard.
I like Sovereign, but it's a pretty small project overall in an area with loads of vacant lots and underutilized buildings, whereas this one is absolutely massive and could potentially draw thousands of people to this stretch of 17th. Its a true game changer for the area IMO.No credit for sovereign ... sad.
I was joking but I'm hoping Sovereign pulls people down 1 Street SW. Something in the NW corning of 17th and 1 Street SW would be great. I am happy about 17th and 4th though, pull people on 4th to 17th. Having potential hubs around the Beltline that you can go between would be great. I don't expect all of 17th to be electric... There are CRUs in Sovereign, right?I like Sovereign, but it's a pretty small project overall in an area with loads of vacant and underutilized lots whereas this one is absolutely massive and could potentially draw thousands of people to this stretch of 17th. From that angle, 4 St Lofts looks as tall as TD Tower and almost as tall as Bankers Hall from that angle. A building nearly twice as tall will look absolutely massive.
That is where the temporary outdoor space was setup on the west side of downtown at the end of 8th Street.Could this be a temporary replacement to make up for the removal of the Olympic Plaza rink while they do construction there?
