Oh man this is going to be construction central! 3 large multi family projects going up in one area.
For construction dummies like me, is the tendering out process different than a costing exercise?Ellisdon has taken this out to tender. Sounds like its moving forward. Drawings said it is a full joint venture between Oxford and Wexford Developments.
Woah this is the first I’m hearing of this! Details??Don't forget that a block further east Keynote has a land use in. Couple that with the three Stampede Hotels and by 2030 this area will look and feel very different.
Don’t think there are any details. Except didn’t they ask for basically no height restrictions on their land use proposal?Woah this is the first I’m hearing of this! Details??
They did indeed.Don’t think there are any details. Except didn’t they ask for basically no height restrictions on their land use proposal?
That's the one. That was the one involving flamingo block I believe, right?
Good question. I thought costing was a general exercise to get a ballpark figure decide if it’s in the range of feasibility before putting out to tender. For construction dummies like me, is the tendering out process different than a costing exercise?
I often hear of companies doing a costing exercise before going ahead with a project.
