AI Data Centre Industry Discussion Thread

Neat, thanks for the info! Don't really know much about AB in the 80s, but sounds like the was some big thinking going on.

Also sounds like high school was a lot more interesting before widespread computers and internet..
Companies were very open to working with students back then. The school even let me take a day off to go to Empress.

In elementary, I did a field trip where the whole class caight the Dayliner from the train station at the Calgary Tower. We rode it to Olds where we got off to learn how a grain elevator worked. We caight a later train to Edmonton where we got to sleep over in the Legislature. The next day we learned about the history of the Legislature, how bills are debated and then we got to meet Premier Lougheed.We toured the Imperial Refinery and then took the Dayliner back to Calgary. This was in the days before permission slips.
