Looks great - 4th Street is on the rise.

I'm old enough to remember when the Sony Store was a Safeway. I also went to St Mary's HS and used to lust over Walkmans that I could not afford at that store. 4th Street was really seedy back then. It had at least 2 strip clubs: Club 17 and Peepers, and 1 porn theatre: The Tivoli

When you click on the DP link on the development map in my post, you click on the "details" button in the lower right corner:

Once you click on that link, a new window will open with more information on the file. Click on the "about" tab, and there will be another red button showing where you can download the available documents:

Overall it looks okay. It appears they are maybe planning a second tower down the road?

I think the second tower in that rendering is the Sony Store site to the north, which is a separate project, but just had their DP submitted this week as well. Not sure if the rendering is accurate or not for that one.

I wonder if the tower will be "soft lofts." Looking at the plans, they're clearing still working on unit layout so hard to tell.

Exactly how I feel. It'd be nice if this was replacing an empty lot instead, but I'll take it.

I like how the tower sits in the background and the left Red's in place, and went with a two story frontage on 4th right beside Red's. Makes for a nice streetscape.
