The green is an odd choice, but I’m with @Albertasaurus, beggars can’t be choosers. I’m happy anything is getting built. I moved out of EV because it felt like it was going downhill, I’d really like to see it pick up again.

I hope they don’t change much on the exterior, I like these office buildings with the mid century modern look.

The finished product is looking different than the rendering, but so far I prefer the finish product.

A solid 8/10. Downtown in the beltline I would probably give it more like a 6.5 out of 10 but for this location it’s very good.

I’m excited to see something get built on that empty lot, if there is a tall tower, I too hope it’s on the north east corner. The corner facing 17th Ave. and fourth Street would be great for like a six story podium with a mix of retail and some apartments.

It would be more expensive to make panels and coordinate installation of panels with the mural printed on them.

Fair enough, but what else could be changed for the same cost? We’re basically talking about changing the color of the panels. I’d personally prefer white or cream over the gray or add accent colors but it’s not really a big improvement. Not a big enough improvement to please the critics.

If this was on a main retail corridor then yes, I’d push for better, but sometimes we need to pick our battles. The previous use of land was a waste of inner city space. A patch of grass with 2 trees, and now it’s 65 units with retail in a parcel butted up against an in-ramp. It’s it’s highly...

The soil is actually a bit worse on the east side of the city. Years back my science teacher who was also a horticulturalist mentioned that the soils west of the Bow and Elbow were generally better. Can’t remember the exact reason for it, but might have been due to soil slowly moving east but...
