It's on the North side of 16th, so the sound barrier and access won't change. Not the intended point but it will offer some sound buffer for the neighbourhood behind it which is a nice plus now that we are entering motorcycle racing season I'm reminded of how loud 16th can be.

I wonder how they are going to do the sidewalk closures? The other end is closed already and they can't not have access to the building in the middle. I feel bad for Papa Roti, they'll have no foot traffic.

They saved a 3 foot long sandstone block with a sign above that talks about Penny Lane and some images. It's on the +15 level as you exit to the South. Completely forgettable.

Such an odd building to begin with. The office market must have been crazy at the time this was built, the floor plate is tiny. Clearly no one wanted the office space now. Residential conversion is a great use for an odd "office" building and the location is pretty good for access to Kensington...
