That makes sense to me, and is what I've always kind of suspected. You go to places like London, NYC. Vancouver, Toronto. etc.. where housing costs are high and it's really only a minor cost change (relative to the overall sales prices) to go with good materials. I like the Urban Toronto thread...

Well that just made my day.

I passed by today and the bright green bin on site is full. There were a couple of guys there and they had part of the construction fencing open. I think the trailers are gone too. Not sure if it’s anything to get exited about, but thought I’d mention it.

Weird, it closed silently without any media coverage, though, it could be they never had many employees to start with. Looks like they had 60 employees already, who were probably remote at the time and were planning to increase to 150.

When buildings have cheap paneling materials it doesn't look good all one color. Although the random rectangles don't really look better. The only real solution is better materials. I've noticed in Toronto they generally use better materials, is it because they are for purchase rather than rental?

You could also add a Fintech industry that has sprung up rapidly in recent years.

It might have been this post. I'll copy and paste the numbers here for sake of ease. Calgary had the highest growth percentage wise among the major metros. Calgary is still a ways behind the the big 3 and Ottawa in raw numbers, but has easily taken over the title of tech hub for the prairies...

IIRC, the consensus was if the crane was mounted in concrete it would be considered part of the crane count, even though this functions much the same as a standard tower crane.

I was thinking $45 Million, but could also be $25 Million. Definitely not more than $45M.
