They’ve started a staging area and some excavation for the overpass beside the Road King on 114th and Barlow. They still haven’t updated the signage funny enough.

They would have been Calgary’s ‘Venetian’. Just a tower form of Edmonton’s colourful stucco turd. Stucco should be banned for anything taller than 5 stories.

My only issue with those 3 was the mismatched crown lighting.

That ketchup and mustard stucco would have aged horribly.

Nuera to me is worse.

I hope we don’t get those. I fear the event centre will just make regular tickets unaffordable.

Do those renderings show the newest version? I expected more of a height difference. From some angles like the north the shorter tower even looks like an identical twin.

I think they’re going to rip up the current lanes to reconfigure it between Anderson and Ivor Strong bridge. There’s still another pillar for the flyover that needs to be built right in the middle of the current roadway. They’ve already re-routed sections for construction of other parts...
