I really did try and read the last page’s comments thoroughly so I didn’t have to ask, but I just can’t find a previous reference to “CBTC”, so I have to foolishly admit that I don’t know what “CBTC” is. I’m sorry.

I recently spent a couple of weeks in Spain (Barcelona and area specifically). I really liked their low floor trams rambling along the grassy rail beds. It was so quaint! I hope we can recreate that here in places.

I, too, really like the design and hope it is executed as designed! Many cities have a “crown jewel” (eg: NYC: Central Park, Vancouver: Stanley Park, etc). Which do you think has the potential to become Calgary’s “crown jewel”: Olympic Plaza or Eau Claire/Prince’s Island Park?

If 50th avenue is going to be extended through the property then the transit property will be split into two. Wonder how that will work.

Unfortunately I do have to travel to the US for work on occasion and I did book an upcoming LA-SJD-LA cruise long ago, but after that is completed in early March, my voluntary US travel going forward is going to be substantially decreased or eliminated.
