    Calgary International Airport

Problem is, low ticket prices are about all Flair has going for them. Take that away and why not just take WJ or AC, and at least you can count on a reasonable degree of reliability. Porter at least differentiates themself with a unique product- narrow body jets with only 2 seats a side, free...

Yup that's the one. I was just too lazy to add in the additional addresses.

Most of the reports I've seen recently are calling the rental market "balanced" after a few years of really tight supply. Regardless, keep in mind that there won't be much supply coming onstream in the downtown/Beltline market for a couple years, since most of the projects currently underway...

Agreed, I'm a fan too - it's a simple but attractive building. The base of the building is brick and the tower portion is metal panels, although they are using red-brown and bronze-gold colours which should make for a nice change from what we usually see.

A "Tuesday surprise"...new DP submitted, this one for a 35-ish storey 390-foot tower called "The Morrison" at 1400 ST SW. Developer is Western Securities, architect is Hindle.

    Calgary International Airport

I have taken 3 flights on Flair, two of which were delayed (one by about 5 hours which resulted in me getting home at 4 am). I would definitely not take a connecting flight with them, and would be reluctant to fly them again unless the savings were huge. I'm too old to roll the dice on abysmal...

    Calgary International Airport

AC has been doing Calgary dirty for a few years now. But I do agree that at least WJ's pricing is quite competitive.

    Statscan numbers

Conversely, Vancouver is much closer to Calgary-Edmonton-Ottawa in population than it is to Toronto or even Montreal. It has a bit over a million more people than Calgary, and 4.5 million less people than Toronto.

Always a nice surprise when these seemingly stalled projects come back to life.

    Stampede Station | 277.3m | 71s | Truman | NORR

Now that the height has been released, it's confirmed that it will be taller than any building either completed or under construction. The only proposal I am aware of that would be taller is the supertall proposed for Vancouver, but I have doubts that project will happen anytime soon, if ever...

    Plaza | 109m | 33s | Cantiro | GEC

I'm a fan of the splash of colour. There's generally a lot of monotone in this city's architecture.

Nice! Far from my favorite project but a big improvement over the parking lot.

    Urban Development and Proposals Discussion

Realistically, I don't see enough public money being available to build a stadium for a long time. Especially with so many expensive city-building projects already underway.

    Urban Development and Proposals Discussion

I don't see a redevelopment or replacement for McMahon until such time as the current stadium is considered structurally unsafe. Not sure how far away that day is. Otherwise, the only hope I see is if perhaps they join forces with Cavalry FC to build a facility that is affordable and also...

Correct. 15 storeys so too tall for wood frame construction.
