you could build an MSF somewhere near MRU, and once/if they build the Westbrook to MRU streetcar they can just use the same system and interoperate

Brightline West does have these issues- it's just because of the extreme terrain that the tradeoff makes more sense. There are several points along the alignment where the train must slow for curves inside the RoW and several interchanges need to be rebuilt.

RFPs are out already for both Shepard MSF site prep & servicing and realignment of Barlow and 114th to drill piles for the overpass

AFAIK 8th St and 8th Ave are both funded under the Downtown Strategy

I don't think any have been completed yet, the first will probably be the ones on 34th in Marda Loop or 12 Street in Inglewood which also has a full tabled intersection with 8th Ave

The 8th street rebuild will be a beautiful centerpiece to it all

Most of them were installed on top of the concrete later after substantial completion of the station. I guess they're just waiting on them still
