    The Dorian | 98.45m | 27s | PBA Land Development | Gibbs Gage

From my observations of them putting the panels in I would say no as there's no cables running behind them and those are solid metal panels.

    Stephen Avenue Quarter | 241m | 66s | Triovest | Gibbs Gage

The only saving grace when viewing the 7ave north side stretch is the Telus sky building but even then its not an interesting view on the ctrain station ground level. With this new building proposal this 7th avenue stretch will be a dark corridor with no human scale feel to it, it would be nice...

thanks for the info artvandelay, it's just that I remember being in this building when I was a kid, before the McNally bookstore & later the Sportchek gutting the place and it filled with smaller shops and the open stairwell with wrought iron railings giving the place a Blade Runnerish, Bradbury...

Went to Triovest's site and came across these pages that have virtual tours of a couple of the interiors of some affected buildings, Clarence Block Ashdown Hardware And for anyone interested here's a link for the walking tour brochure: YYC Downtown Walking Tour

The sport check has a nice central open stairwell with a skylight and vintage wrought iron balustrade that would be a shame to lose.😢

I was wondering what was happening to the Len Werry and how they got the crane to stand on the roof and thanks to GoVertical's photo I now know. Thanks

I can't picture it going into that area as there is next to no public transit to that area, certainly no CTrains. I know alot of people (myself included) don't want to have to worry about taking their cars to concerts/games.

It would have been kind of cool if they had done something like this:

    Glenbow Museum | 43m | 9s | DIALOG

I'm liking the rippled panels, it's going to give the exterior some "movement" with the shadows moving with the suns path. the only thing though is they look kind of deep and after a few years the tops of them will start to get dirty, but I guess you just get the pressure washer on them from...

I like the light show put on and from a distance I can't really notice lights being out or it just never jumped out at me. I do have a "stupid" question though, how bright are the lights as observer when you're inside one of the units or on the balcony, just wondering how noticeable it is?

I'm not minding the roofline of this view, it's a tip of the hat to the old Stampede Corral...

No more big lifts for The Dorian anymore, unless they get a mobile crane. They removed the site crane over the weekend.
