In my lifetime I’ve never experienced Canada being in a World Cup or close to it. This is exciting.

I heard there were over 13,000 cases in Quebec yesterday. After seeing how busy the malls and restaurants were, Alberta's numbers will soon be up there with Quebec's.

As strange as it sounds, it's true. People (within the UCP and a large portion of the public) want Kenny to resign, but to be honest I hope he stays in at least until the next election. If he resigns we'll end up with a former wild rose person leading the charge, and things could really get ugly...

It's not going to be a nice looking project going by the rendering, but this is one of those cases where I'm happy to see it built. The lot it's being built on is one of the most undesirable places in the city to build something residential. I'm shocked someone's building there, and will take it...

Technically it's any reuse of land that had once been developed, but I get what you mean.

Technically it's not a write off, but the chance it'll ever be a decent pedestrian corridor is slim to none. If they take a way a couple of lanes and add some more traffic lights, or maybe lowering the speed limit might do the trick, but they just spent millions widening it, I can't see it...

I went through all 5 pages of this thread, and I have to say @UrbanWarrior, there are some great photos. I felt like I had a great tour of all 4 seasons in Calgary. Kudos!
