Why not have the gondola start beside the new arena, go down stampede trail, turn right and follow the BMO, then hang a left and go past the new hotel and Big 4 and end by the grandstand building. Or just build a permanent Ferris wheel as mentioned above.

So I’m assuming the glass that is supposed to be curvy at the top corner of the building will not be transparent? Looks like there is interior walls already set up. That’s disappointing.

I like it! Will really be a nice focal point and entry into Stampede Park from 17th Ave. They better not VE the greenery on the roof and canopy, that makes a huge difference to the feel of that area. Also sad to see Weadickville go. Wonder if there is another area they could rebuild it, maybe...

Not what I was expecting. Obviously I’ll wait until it is closer to completion, but this already downgraded a mediocre design to begin with. I really like the Olympic Plaza redesign, Arts Commons….not so much.

I think I would choose Bridgeland first, then Kensington, then Inglewood. I have a soft spot for the massive park in Bridgeland and having some pizza at Una followed by an ice cream at Village.
