Anyone know if the rest of the (currently) uncladded twisty concrete columns are going to get the same cladding treatment as the ones in the SW corner?

I don't even mind the cladding close up. I was extremely pessimistic given Cidex's track record like most, but I'm pleased with how it looks. Completely agree with the crown comment though - the solid spandrel crowns on Nuera burn me everytime I see them..terrible, terrible shit.

Past by there today and the houses have now been taken down. Such a great use for that corner, those houses/lots were sitting in rough shape for a long time.

Was down at the EV experience center today, the lady said they were on track for a Q1 opening of the grocery store. Also that the plot to the north of Studio Bell (Start of the Riff) was sold, and that an announcement will be made shortly.

This is fantastic news. I walk by this barren site everyday to work, wishing that something would happen. Do we know if they are sticking with the original design?

As much as I like to pile on Cidex, and as much as I dislike the east west exposures of the tower portion...after seeing the podium in person up close on the weekend, it isn't bad. I'm fine with it, the materials actually look decent, the grey spandrel portions aren't that prominent. If it were...

Was pessimistic at first, but very pleased with how this is turning out. Its crazy how simply protruding the colored squares makes such a difference to give it that textured quality, so glad Strategic didn't cut corners from the rendering and make it flat spandrel ? .

How can a developer / designer not see how bad of an idea that is? On top of the mixed bag of faux wood paneling, those horrid spandrel sections on the north corners. What a missed opportunity for such a prominent location.

C'mon construction gods.... Please guide Cidex to make these bareable. The one component that I'm really worried about is the crown. I remember how excited I was for the nice big transparent glass crowns on the Nuera renderings. I could see the same solid spandrel reality in the cards for these.
