If anyone is interested I know a guy who does thoughtful landscape design and can supply and plant nursery grade caliper trees for a decent price.

I ended up on the Edmonton Trail bike lane the other day - It seems so obvious to extend it over the flyover and along 5 Ave through dt... That section feels so useless, and 5 Ave can likely handle the removal of a traffic lane.

Reckon they give it a power brush once or twice a year. There would be significant drainage ability under a public dog turf as well.

Went to Hayden Block a few weeks ago. What was weird was the the Tim Horton's was closed on a Thurs before 6pm... I think the sign said 5? We weren't going there, but it is a really dead spot there on Kensington Road.

There isn't updated streetview on here, but Silver Springs Blvd has those yellow concrete pads and painted lines for a bike lane. Seems like a quick, effective and efficient way to add bike lanes to all the overbuilt roads in town.

The rooftop patio here is going to be busy!

They also finally added the LRT lines to the transit view a couple months ago... Hopefully they'll do the MAX lines nextt.

1 ST is the "Transition Zone"; Currently residential on the West side, light industrial, retail & office on the East side. The transition zone allows for retail on both sides of the street.

Too bad there isn't any retail. 1 ST NE seems like it would be good frontage for some CRUs. Otherwise great, love the "natural staircase".
