It’s bulky, but it’s a good start to development on that east end of 17th.
Really wonder how that east end of 17th is going to be once Truman finishes the stampede/stampede station hotels.

I have a good feeling those developments will really push investors to get 17th properly developed from 4th Street to MacLeod trail. Broadway on 4th will certainly help too once that’s complete.

Unfortunately that means we’re probably still 10+ years away from a fully developed 17th ave.

For those that like this versus Yellowstone, what is it about this that you like that Yellowstone doesn't have.
This one feels like they took a somewhat undesirable material in those metal panels and did the most they could with it, and the full height windows help to keep the design. It's not a few random panel and window placements, it's tons of variation that for lack of better terms, almost makes the building shimmer. I think it looks better than the render and I am pleasantly surprised by how tight the fit and finish is on it.

Yellowstone looks like a commie block with some spray painted panels. Every single window is the exact same, every single panel is the exact same, and they're both of the cheapest quality. Then they choose to throw in some yellow and it looks like a cheap toy. If you're going to put 0 effort in to the design, you best choose some materials that look good on their own. I think the Broward shows what I am talking about: not much in the way of design, but using brick on one side and installing huge, clean windows on the other keeps it classy.

My $.02 as someone who likes to look at buildings they walk by and knows literally nothing.
