Ground floor could use some work here - the ridiculously large road setback on Edmonton Trail isn't helping either. The rendering and the design both overestimate how steep the slope is, it's almost like they couldn't imagine designing anything on a slope so they just plopped a design for a perfectly flat site down and called it a day.

Agree about the materials - less is more!

I think the grade as shown is pretty accurate. They could however attempt to modify it instead of just perching on top of the existing area well above the sidewalk. Not sure where the property line falls however.

It’l be a nice addition to that area. It’s too bad that section of Edmonton trail has the ambience of a freeway.

Excellent, I didn't even know about this one. Decent design, and appropriate scale for Edmonton Tr. I agree that the ground floor treatment isn't ideal, but I think that's more a result of the site context than the design.

Great to see more development along the Edmonton Trail corridor. Was there any other activity like a driller or anything like that?

No driller, just guys with vests, and the excavator working. They're most likely leveling the land in preparation of a driller.

I drove right past this yesterday, but didn't notice this. I usually go past about once a week or so, I'll try and take a snap next time
