A new DP has been submitted to replace a portion of the Sirocco Village strip mall with a multi-residential building with retail at base:

100% stereotypical of today's style of 6 floor multi-family, and completely forgettable, but the good side is, it's located 500m from the station, and will have a fair bit of retail around it.

DP2025-01091 was approved, and is past the appeal period.

Yes, 2025 was the year of turning the page and seeing some progress on TOD. Which this sort of is.
I'd say it is. It seems to be a 6 minute walk from Sirocco station - 1 long block, plus a light at 17th.
