Community Centre spaces usually don't get too much action unless the city wants to build something bigger.
The Riley Park Health Centre land was sold earlier this year. I imagine they'd want to build something at scale there, but probably more complicated with there being existing tenants on the site and lease/relocation that would have to happen.

The form has been modified but the building has very significant heritage value, arguably the most significant building in the city when it comes to union and labour activity, as well as the location of the founding of the CCF party.

I thought that Riley Park site was going to stay as healthcare lol. What has Bankside developed, can't think if I've heard of them before... Hope this doesn't just sit vacant for a long time...

The big "for lease" signs are gone from the ground floor unit at the M2 building in East Village. Anyone know what might be going in there?

Ol' Beautiful would be incredible, and would definitely be a draw to the area and possibly help the feel a lot.

I think the signs say "office/retail space" and I don't think they put any services in these spaces to handle restaurant kitchens so they'd need some major work to switch.

Apologies for the totally random question but has anyone ever had difficulties accessing the forum while traveling? I'm down at a hotel in Mexico and keep getting a Forbidden error every time I try to access the forum via the hotel wifi however if I access the forum via the mobile network, it loads no problem. Just curious if it's a weird quirk of the network of the hotel I'm staying at or something related to international access to the forum that others have come across before?

I had that happen to me on wifi in Guatemala but when I was on their mobile network it was fine too
