General Construction Updates

Too many businesses still think they need parking directly in front of their door to be successful
You'd probably still have parking behind as well, there is a lot of land. Just don't have the parking interface with the plaza and riverwalk. You could probably get both done for the interim solution.
Something like BOXPARK in the red area, parking and back of house in the yellow area:

Went to the zoo on the weekend and the entire Asia section all the way to the tigers is ripped up and under construction. Can’t find any plans anywhere and wondered if someone here might know.

Open River Hall again you cowards.
I don't get why that should unused for 48 weeks of the year. (I guess it was used for Taste, so 47.5.) It was a big success last year, and maybe cost some money for security, sanitation, programming, etc. But given the number of people who came out and the space just sitting there, is there no way to have vendors for more of the summer and break even?

Great news, open Friday to Sunday.

I do think they underestimate demand outside weekends for this exact thing in this exact location. There's tens of thousands of pathway users even on a weekday and 25,000 people living within walking distance, and zero competition for quality patios in park spaces nearby. Total captive market.

If the weather is good, you could fill this up - several times over - on any night of the week.
