So painfully slow this one....I just want to see the exterior finished, especially the top corner. It looks like it will have to be spandrel as there are interior walls behind it. Does not appear that it will be fully transparent.

Massively disappointing. The other facing sides of this one, ok, I get it to go spandrel save money - don't mess around with this NE corner though!

I fear this will turn into another National Music Centre. I know the sun isn’t great for museums, but most modern museums have light filled hallways with darker rooms for the actual art. Like the Royal Alberta Museum looks so much more welcoming

So only 2 1/2 floors out of 8 are actual exhibits?
That’s pretty normal for these types of places. A ton of space is required to store collections, and produce exhibits. It’s just a big theatre, with a big backstage area.

Those education and production spaces will host many students and lectures, and the remaining living room/theatre/lobby and exhibition spaces are equally as important to the experience of the space, and will also play host to likely more interactive installations.

The Gallery areas are likely demarcated as more formal, quiet spaces. And only 1 floor for office is actually unusual. You’d be surprised how large the office components are to other large scale museums/galleries.
