Where is it going to be located?
Looks like it's on the same lot as the project itself, corner of 26 Ave and 1 St SW.

The fact they have a sales centre tells me the target is not Ontario investors. It will be interesting to see how they do, trying to market this as a place for people to move into / live in.

The developer is Toronto-based. They have built some nice condos in Ottawa, and I used to live in one of them. Good layout, exposed brick kind of industrial design.

Hate to be a Debbie downer, but the work might only be for a sales centre. The land use was approved, and there is a DP for the tower which is still under review, but there is a released permit for a sales centre.

I see a sales centre as an investment in the project and a good sign it will go forward.

I like it a lot but I worry about the economics of the project. Was better as the walk up apartment it was before than a sales centre that could lead to a gravel parking lot. Can you imagine if you tore town a building in the suburbs and put in a gravel parking lot? People would lose there shit but apparently it’s ok to do downtown so those same assholes can park easier

You're worry is correct. This one is already being redesigned.
