May I ask why they are even being painted? Will these be exposed? I always thought the majority would be covered up. If they are exposed, why not paint them at the end?

I think this could have looked 10x better with the following changes: 1. The gap between the exterior tiles is too big. The ripples lose their effect with the wide spaces. Not sure if they could have been squeezed any closer together. I was hoping the tiles would also be a little brighter white...

Yeah I’m noticing lots of shortcuts in craftsmanship and quality. An improvement but still kind of disappointing. Does not live up to the rendering.

UD and WV look like they will be really solid areas. Pretty cool that Calgary is starting to pull off these master planned areas properly. Seton and Trinity Hills....they look mediocre in comparison.

Agree, colour looks a little sterile and cold. Should have gone with something a little warmer and more historical looking.

Why is the 4th and 10th floors blacked out? Are they mechanical, already being leased, or something else? I find it surprising they would have two floors breaking up the continuous space.

Hmmm…I don’t hate that exterior panelling. Not a fan of the random rectangles, but I like the look of the metallic panels and the colour is nice.

Spandrel should have been a light grey to better match the rest of the building. The robin’s egg blue does not go well with the building.

I thought Minto bought this site? Either way, tbis looks great, but as others mentioned, they need to tweak the riverside frontage. An open restaurant fronting the river would be great!

Yuck. Why couldn’t they just duplicate the one from across the street. I give that one a 9/10 and this one a lowly 3/10.

I don’t see why the infield building can’t be completely removed and rebuilt. That building is kind of a dump. I worked one summer stocking liquor throughout all the concession booths at the Grandstand and Infield building, and that infield is pretty dumpy.
