I’m all for being part of the solution. Nothing wrong with densifying and I do agree the area could use it. Thoughtful site planning is part of that. Ignoring real access constraints because we hope transit solves everything isn’t.
“Taking transit” doesn’t eliminate delivery trucks, garbage collection, emergency access, safety concerns or the reality of a single-lane alley that’s often blocked. Supporting density and asking for practical site planning aren’t mutually exclusive.
This would be in terribly close proximity to the already large Casel apartment building that is just across the single lane alleyway. Seems like an inappropriate place for such a large development when you consider traffic, emergency access, etc. Not to mention there are several huge and mature...
