For several years we'd fly into Calgary for the summer and stay in the U of C's excellent - and accessible - Summer Residences.
My wife's family home was in the NW, less than 3km away across Crowchild Trail.
'An easy 45 minute wheel' I thought at first, not realising...
..and from me it gets the wheelchair stamp of approval 👨🦽
How nice to be able to wheel around being 'in the moment' with my kids - instead of always casting ahead to avoid obstacles, steep curbs, uneven paving and oncoming crowds!
