The Pump Track's coming along. Talked to a couple of local kids who were flying a drone over it watching the construction.. they're 'pumped' about it..(heh) With a nice web of bike paths forming in the area it'll encourage kids to bike along to - what was - an under used corner of the park.

From the NW again - inching higher..

I'm a wheelchair user. For several years we'd fly into Calgary for the summer and stay in the U of C's excellent - and accessible - Summer Residences. My wife's family home was in the NW, less than 3km away across Crowchild Trail. 'An easy 45 minute wheel' I thought at first, not realising...

..and from me it gets the wheelchair stamp of approval 👨‍🦽 How nice to be able to wheel around being 'in the moment' with my kids - instead of always casting ahead to avoid obstacles, steep curbs, uneven paving and oncoming crowds! Looking forward to the park being completed.

I don't hate it as much as I thought I would - it's almost got a mid-century modern vibe going on..

D-map for this site shows 'Permit Pending Release' - after approval back in September 2021. I assume there was a resolution to the covenant issue.
