It is insane that the UCP hasn’t lost more support. With recent threats from the US and the impending separatist petition / referendum I hope more people pull their heads out of their unthinking asses and turn out to get rid of Smith once and for all.

Quite nice looking. I will miss the crystalline staircase art though. It was retro and nostalgic and awesome.

It is starting to feel more urban. Even without perfect materials the form feels proper and the intersection is shaping up nicely. I’m actually happy that they scrapped the food hall for the proposed mixed use tower to finish off that intersection. I can’t think of too many places in the city...

That version still looked better. The weird awnings are throwing me with the new version. I can’t tell what material they will be. I fear they’ll be fabric and end up filthy and tattered.

Maybe it was meant to go with the blue ring by the airport? Lol! Edit: It reminds me of the terrible rebranding of ACAD spearheaded by the new President when I was there in '05/06. The logo they came up with was awful. Not a big fan of the new University of the Arts one now either.
