Without Banff the gap between the two airports wouldn’t as stark as it is today, but Calgary would still be the busier airport. How much busier is the question. Without Banff and without Westjet ever happening my guess is there would be about 25-30% difference due to Cakgary being the business...
It’s wild to see Edmonton have by far their biggest growth year ever and still be left in the dust by Calgary. A difference of 24k is likely the biggest disparity ever.
And if Foothills part of the CMA it was be more like 26k difference.
This is the biggest issue IMO. To be fair, here in Calgary with such a high ratio of homeowners in past years often times renters were the less desirables in the neighborhood and gave the good renters a bad name.

Traffic is more what I meant. If they only build 1200 stalls, then there are only 1200 cars to create extra traffic. I agree with the original poster who said 2500 residential units would create a lot of traffic for a neighbourhood that doesn’t have very good egress/ingress.
