    Calgary Regional Rail Transit

The train to Airdrie will be done before that. Actual conversation with my mom this weekend about someone's great uncle: "So and so are moving from Vancouver Island to Airdrie, they have friends there that really sold them on it." I just about fell over.

    My prediction/hope: 2037. Reality: 2040.

Small floor plates has to be a factor in the pace. Exciting we're getting more of these, like Nest that get built quickly; has to help the margins. I like the idea of going taller but skinnier.

    Broadway on 17th | 154m | 47s | Vesta | Zeidler

City-building wise, it probably punches above Stampede Station. Especially after seeing SS's plans for their ground floor. It deserves some hype, especially since this will be well underway by 2027.

I'm dying to know if they're keeping the underground. Early renders showed it staying, now I'm not so sure.

I got an ad for this on social media saying luxury sales start in September.

It makes me feel a little blue. I respect not wanting to go into the red and needing to make some green. Good to see more blacktop disappear.

Right, that's why we can't build the Green Line underground.

When he mentions a fashion hub, he's not wrong. This isn't rodeo drive but with Lululemon here, there's Arc'teryx and Fjällräven on the next block, across Tomkins Park there is West Elm. Not to mention a few other maybe not mainstream but cool shops like Purr not far away and a couple vintage...

There's something similar to this in Legacy, minus the angled parking and boulevard. Using the cars parking along the side you could very realistically see how this could be a six-lane road or four driving lanes and two parking lanes.

I will say, Glenmore still pretty consistently backs up. Unlike Crowchild, there are no alternate routes nearby so one minor slowdown and it is GAME OVER.

    Scotia Place | 36.85m | 11s | CSEC | HOK

Looks like the section under the plaza near the community arena is almost at grade. For the underpass, that is tied to this, I noticed this week that they've done all the prep with the exception of laying the actual track for where they're redirecting the CPKC lines.

    Infill Development Discussion

If there wasn't a demand for infills, there would be no infills. It is a huge miss that for every one of these proposals it is made out to be the big bad developer versus homesteader just trying to make a better life for their family. In reality, these are homes for people, some shoeboxes but...

Poking around the DMap. I see an approved land use change for a pretty interesting site in Mission. Right on the river and not that big of a lot... Maybe there's opportunity for a Nest 2.0 here. 101 25 AV SW https://dmap.calgary.ca/?p=LOC2024-0176 Description A change is proposed at 101 25...
