The efforts are nice but downtown still has a long way to go. Its still not a very attractive place to hang out in. The homeless issue is also worst than ever, although that’s a national trend. I took the decision to move out of the East Village because it’s been just too much lately.

I find it crazy to buy a condo without checking the area lol. It's a good area though, lots of bars and clubs. Can be a bit noisy at night, especially with the CP tracks.

This area deserves some love.

Looks good. It's the shame it is on an "island". It would be nice to have a large bridge above 6th ave to make the space completely integrated to the river and pathways. Something like this.

Very awkward massing and building overall

Good stuff, especially if its brick. We need more of those, instead of the boring beige grey black.
