I lived in Castello for about 10 years through the mid 2010s, that area got pretty rough especially after covid. That will be a welcome change to everyone around there after this happens. I know we're just playing whack a mole with social disorder but that location became a nexus of open air drug use and crime in the alley/parkades.

I doubt the hotel had much influence on this (if this is the site), but the whack-a-mole is set to continue.

I heard a rumor from a reliable source that we should manage our expectations, at least as far as height is concerned. Hearing a dozen or so floors. Hopefully the design will make up for lack of height if that turns out to be true.
