The Aurum office just east of Sovereign has a land use in.

A change is proposed at multiple properties (see map) to allow for:
Coupled with the DP that's pending decision down the block and the approved land use change at Centre and 17th. This section of 17th seems to have some momentum.

A change is proposed at multiple properties (see map) to allow for:
- commercial and residential uses in street-oriented buildings with commercial uses required at street level, facing the commercial street [Mixed Use - Active Frontage (MU-2f6.5h58) District];
- a maximum building height of 58 metres (about 17 storeys);
Coupled with the DP that's pending decision down the block and the approved land use change at Centre and 17th. This section of 17th seems to have some momentum.

Nice to see another proposal for that part of 17th. The building it's replacing does little for the vibrancy of 17th, so it won't be much of a loss.

Would love to see a proposal for the old La Chaumiere restaurant site that spills out onto the park and complements the Sovereign building.

There was some discussion in another thread about the Bridgeland McDonald's and whether it had seating. Looks like take out and drive-thru only.
