The $296.9 million for district improvements is split like this:
Transportation connections and improvements - $147.1 million
Remediation, public spaces and demolition - $57.8 million
Land purchase - $33.5 million
"Other" - $33.5 million
The creation of 5A Street SE and upgrades to 15 Ave SE, 17 Ave SE, and 25 Ave SE are included along with upgrades to the utilities in the neighbourhood to support future development. Funding for the 6th Street underpass is also included.

So much to look at in those photos, excellent quality!

The west foundation wall is much closer to the road than I realized. I do find it is interesting that they're building the event level and above in sections versus going level by level like high-rise construction.

I could be wrong here, but getting as much to-grade before you have to take out the temporary ramp for access? If they went full event level, they'd have to remove the last construction ramp before starting the mezzanine level to get to-grade.

Certainly in the middle yes, those look like thick conduit pipes…but then theres the “coiled” lines which dont appear to be conduit on either side.
