I think it's a tad overrated myself, but the couple who runs it is so dang friendly, you can't help but support the place.
It's the spiritual successor to Vogglio D'Pizza (if anyone remembers that place): owned by a friendly family, pizza with crazy inventive toppings that may or may not be in a style you like.
Gaga also has some Balkan products for sale, like candy, and makes excellent burek with beef. My order always includes both pizza and burek.

When my kids were still small and cute they gave them a Milka chocolate bar every time we went in there. So if you've got cute kids, you may get some free treats out of it.
But you're right about the pizza... I think it's solid for sure, but it's got a certain style so don't expect some authentic Neapolitan pie. I think it's a solid 8. The people are an 11.

Gaga is one of my favorite places for pizza.
You used to be able to eat in, but they had like 2 tables.

The kinetic art paired with the ugly 80’s glass wall in a windswept plaza looks pretty bleak.
It's actually a pretty small plaza, dare I say appropriately sized. 9 Ave is pretty wide though.

Always there. In fact they're coming down because the building is expanding into the space were the ground is dug up.
