I had no idea the Fina Building conversion was underway?? There was work going on inside (the door was open), so I dunno? Figured we would heard about it here first.

This will be a pretty neat conversion given this one is connected into the +15 which I assume will remain post conversion? I used to walk through here all the time, that old sandwich shop was a staple for the downtown crowd.

I sure hope so. These office conversions ideally won't just revitalize the streets of the downtown core - hopefully we can also see more usage of the +15 and support for businesses accessible through it.

I wonder if this one will end up keeping more of the original design than some of the other conversions.

Virtually no cosmetic changes. Just windows.

I like the Petrofina building, same with Elveden centre (the one to the left of it) Thankfully mostly the newer buildings from the 70-80s, were the ones being converted. Most of those are garbage IMO. Those older 50's 60's buildings are nice boutique buildings that had some style. They should be buildings great for conversion, but we saw happened with Sierra place. A nice little building turned ugly.

Elveden Centre is one of my favourite buildings in the entire city.
