Neither this or the Hat will be winning any architecture awards, but they are doing their part in spreading development westward and taking some attention away from the ugliness of the West End. I dream of a day when all views of Discovery/Tarjan Pointe will be blocked from view.

Very true. I love fancy architectural projects as much as the next guy, but there are parts of downtown in the core that really need buildings and people. The nice towers will filter in now and then.
