Sad to see it go, many memories there. Unsure how to feel about this development especially considering it'll just become more surface parking and full phase build-out isnt a given here.

Its not hard to see this project getting a reduction in scope and just becoming another power centre.

This mall has been demolished and re-built a few times in it’s 50+ year history.

Nothing special, but good density addition. Far better than the half used parking lot that was there before.

High school at Churchill in the 90s wouldn't have been the same without the lunchtime visits to Future Shop to browse the computer games, HMV the new CDs, Arby's for the Beef 'n Cheddars, and then occasionally Purdy's for an ice cream bar.

This is the concept diagram for phase two, I'm guessing it'll be roughly where the two yellow buildings in the middle are. It'll be interesting to see what the actual design looks like.

I thought they'd scrapped most of the residential, especially in the center of the development. We're they just going to turn that middle section into some strip mall power center?
